Calvary Health Care Bethlehem is a 66 bed health care facility providing a range of inpatient, community, respite and ambulatory services for palliative care and progressive neurological conditions.

Clinical Trial Coordinator / Research Nurse: Grade 3B
Part Time - up to 32 hours per week.
One year contract with potential for renewal [subject to ongoing funding]

A great opportunity exists for a qualified and experienced Research Nurse/Clinical Trial Coordinator to join our growing research department and become part of the Neurological Ambulatory Service, a level 5 state wide service for people with Progressive Neurological Disease.

Applicants are required to have:
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA/Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines
- A minimum 3 years Post Graduate experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take ECGs
- Experience in venepuncture
- A flexible attitude to work
- Competent computer skills
- Competency with data entry
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Work independently, and to prioritise tasks
- A current and valid Victorian Drivers Licence

Experience in the following is desirable, but not essential.
- Clinical experience in Neurological nursing, in particular experience in the care of clients with progressive neurological disorders
- Experience in cannulation
- Experience of Ethics submissions and communication
- Experience preparing budgets for research
- Experience coordinating a clinical trial

We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurses with the skills and qualities to assist in the organization and coordination of delivery of care in St Lukes Hospice Unit and St Josephs Independence Maintenance Unit.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- A patient and family-centred approach to care delivery.
- Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision along a continuum of care.
- A strong commitment to customer service and risk management.
- A desire to develop their leadership and management skills in a supportive environment and act as a role model for nursing staff.

Essential Qualifications:
