Registered Nurses & Enrolled Nurses (Medication Endorsed)

We are seeking enthusiastic and a suitably qualified Registered and Enrolled nurses to join our Casual Bank. The position includes working across our specialist facility supporting patients with general palliative and neuro-palliative care needs. The successful applicants will demonstrate:

- A patient and family-centred approach to care delivery.
- Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision along a continuum of care.
- A strong commitment to customer service and risk management.
- A commitment to their own learning and professional development.

Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse & Enrolled Nurse (Endorsed), AHPRA / Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- 2 years clinical experience in an inpatient hospital setting

Post graduate qualifications or relevant clinical experience is essential for further consideration of this role.

Night Duty Position - (60 hrs per fortnight) (Thursday, Friday & Saturday)
St Lukes Hospice Unit & St Josephs Independence Maintenance Unit

An opportunity exists for enthusiastic and a suitably qualified enrolled nurse to apply for this position. The position includes working across our specialist facility supporting patients with general palliative and neuro-palliative care needs.

Essential Qualifications:
- Registered with Australian Heath Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Two years clinical experience in an inpatient setting

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- A patient and family-centred approach to care delivery.
- Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision along a continuum of care.

About the role:
Reporting to the Specialists Children team you will play a critical role to facilitate and support young clients whilst fulfilling their existing care plans and delivering a high quality of care.

Regular shifts are available during the week:
Thomastown: Mondays and Wednesdays
Mont Albert North: Saturdays

Skills & Experience:
- Certificate in Aged Care or HACC
- Experience providing care to complex clients particularly children with special needs will be highly regarded
- Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mobile phone, drivers licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Ability to navigate a computer
