Community Aged Care Packages (CACP)

A Community Aged Care Package is a package of services to help older people remain at home as an alternative to moving into a residential facility. They are flexible to adapt to the changing needs of the client. Calvary Silver Circle will work with you and/or your representative to design a package of services to meet your individual requirements, preferences and circumstances. Services can include:

  • Personal hygiene, dressing and grooming
  • Meal preparation
  • Laundry and home help with domestic tasks
  • Medication prompting
  • Shopping, banking and  social outings
  • Transport
  • Home safety and security

To receive a Community Aged Care Package, you must be assessed by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) as requiring low level care.The ACAT assessments are free of charge. Calvary Silver Circle may be one of the organisations which will be advised of your eligibility for a care package. You will then be offered a package as soon as one becomes available.
